Old System Had Saved PST Password: New PC Does not. What to Do?
by cokoso8371 cokoso - Sunday, 30 November 2025, 9:50 PM

Hi everyone, I recently moved to a new computer, and on my old system, Outlook automatically opened my PST file because the password was saved. Now on the new PC, when I try to open the same PST file, Outlook is asking for the password, which I honestly do not remember. Is there any safe and legitimate way to open or recover a PST file when the password was saved on the old system but is forgotten now? I do not have the old PC available anymore.
