Outlook not syncing properly, want to export OST data to PDF files
by robin bist - Tuesday, 11 November 2025, 2:28 AM

Outlook is not syncing with the Exchange server, and I can't open my mailbox properly. To avoid losing my emails, I want to convert my OST file into PDF for backup. What's the best way to do this without any data loss?

When Outlook isnot syncing properly, and youarenotseeingupdated emails in yourmailbox, it is likely a problem with your OST file or yoursurface connection. In this case, youhaveafewoptions, but exporting your OST data to PDF is the easiest way to store a readable copy of your mailbox. I recommend using FixVare OST to PDF Converter for this step. You can export your Outlook mailbox, which includesyour emails, formatting, and attachments, to well-structured documents inPDF. You donot needtohave Outlookopen to run the conversion, and it also exports the OST file evenifitisnot syncingproperly orifit is partially corrupt.OncetheOSTfileis exported toPDF, your emails are storedsafely as PDFs and can beopenedeasily on various systems or shared withothers. I used FixVare whenmy Outlook wasnot syncing correctly, so it really helpedto keep my data available.
