Need Help Upgrading PST File from ANSI to Unicode Format
by Xofolo xofolo - Friday, 24 October 2025, 1:17 AM

I am currently using an old Outlook PST file that is in the ANSI format, and it has reached its maximum size limit. Because of this, I am facing issues like slow performance and not being able to add new emails. I recently upgraded to a newer version of Outlook that supports Unicode PST files, but I am not sure how to properly convert or upgrade my existing ANSI PST to Unicode format without losing any data. Can anyone guide me on the best and safest way to upgrade my PST file from ANSI to Unicode format?

Is your Outlook PST file in ANSI format, and you want to upgrade it to Unicode? ANSI files can only store up to 2GB of data, while Unicode PSTs handle even larger files with ease. With Softaken PST Upgrade Software, you can quickly and safely convert your ANSI PST file to a Unicode PST. With this tool:

All emails, contacts, and calendar items are preserved.

Large files are easily transferred.

There's no data loss or formatting issues.

Simply select the PST file, start the upgrade process, and transfer your data to the new Unicode PST.

If you want to keep your Outlook files large and secure, the PST Upgrade Tool is the easiest and most reliable way.
