This is a college prep course in the study of chemistry. It requires strong skills in algebra as chemistry is a mathematical science. It also requires strong reading skills and the ability to work independently and be self motivated. There is a lot of homework in this class. Freshman Chemistry is a course for honors level students. Junior Chemistry is for students who missed Freshman Chemistry and have a strong desire to attend college or university.
