There are several ways to open an MSG file, but the easiest way is through Microsoft Outlook as you can simply double click on the file and it will open up with all the original formatting, attachments and Metadata (To, From, CC, BCC). If you do not have also have access to Microsoft Outlook, you can use a free tool such as GainTools MSG Viewer that allows you to open and view MSG files without Microsoft Outlook installed on your computer. There are also some web-based viewers or converters that will allow you to view an MSG file and can not have full presentation of formatting.
